munich and budapest
yesterday was munich, germany. and again there was a large representative of american soldiers in the crowd. we had a chance to talk and hang out with some of the guys and were able to thank them for their service. another huge thank you goes out to rosie who runs the show at the backstage (the club we played), and has always been a good friend who treats us very well. we also got a nice visit from an old school new york hardcore friend of ours, gwen, who lives in germany. the night went great and the crowd went off during our set...there were a couple of points were the stage was covered with people from the crowd dancing and security had to come and clear off the stage making sure the clubs equipment didn't get damaged. they even tried to kick our u.s. tourmanager amanda off the stage. overall, a great show and we had a great opening band, punishable act who also played today's show. then today we were headed to budapest, hungary for what we told was a show on a boat....so of course we all expected the worst, especially since i get motion sickness. but when we got here, the place was amazing. the boat still looked small from outside, but inside you couldn't even tell it was a boat. we were served a great dinner in the restaurant there and everyone working at the club treated us great. the night went really well and the show was great.
